CMS operates on a 6 week assessment cycle. This allows teachers to keep their 'pulse' on students but also allow time for re-teach within the class schedule.
Fountas & Pinnell Running Records
These assessments are one-on-one with the teacher to test fluency, accuracy, and comprehension on reading levels. This is where students get their independent and instructional reading levels.
